Dr. Muyeenul Hassan
Dr. Muyeenul Hassan is Board-Certified in Periodontology and Implant Surgery and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is a skilled clinical practitioner, a published researcher and an educator. He was a faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and a speaker at many national meetings.
Dr. Hassan’s journey in dentistry has been shaped by a passion for advanced surgical care, continuous learning, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in his patients’ lives. After earning his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Bangalore University in India, he continued his education in the United States, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hassan went on to complete a rigorous three-year specialty program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Periodontics. He is also certified in IV Sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. His passion for clinical work and his dedication to his patients’ health earned him recognition for clinical excellence both at Bangalore University in India and at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hassan is proficient in traditional and advanced periodontal surgical procedures. He has extensive knowledge and experience in implant related procedures including implant placement for hybrid dentures, All on X, computer guided implant surgery, ridge augmentation and site development for implant placement, sinus lifts and treating failing
implants.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Hassan is passionate about education and advancing the field of periodontics. He is excited to bring his expertise, dedication, and commitment to comprehensive patient care to the Hamlin team. Outside of the office, Dr. Hassan enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
